

This weekend I started working on a new skirt. I am using an old 60's skirt pattern that I picked up at a estate sale with a bunch of other old patterns- all for $1!!
This is what it looks like so far. Nothing is sewn yet. Just pinned.

I am using this really great fabric I bought at Hancock fabrics and a material I found at the Goodwill that was an unused rice sack. So cool!

Also, this weekend I picked up this old handsewn quilt for 4 dollars! I actually spotted this quilt last weekend on my estate sale adventures but I thought 8 dollars was too much. I went to the same estate sale this weekend and everything was half off!
