Here are three zippered pouches that I completed yesterday. They are all lined with solid colored fabric. My favorite of the three is the one with the red bird peeking out the side.

Today I went thrifting but didn't find anything so I went to this fabric shop in Phoenix called Quiltz. I had always wanted to go in but could never find the time before today. They had the softest cotton fabric I had ever felt but it was going for 8 to 9 dollars a yard. Yikes! I ended up buying three fat quarters for $2.40 each. I figured I would use the fabric sparingly in some small projects. Here is what I bought.

Tomorrow morning there is a huge estate sale. The ad says they have lots of vintage linens and I am so excited!
